could anybody please tell me how to load fabric onto a Quilting Frame cheers bridget?

the three layers.backing wadding and top
cheers

Different frames require different methods, but basically you put the backing on the frame first, wrong side up. Next you layer the wadding, pinning it to the backing along one edge and smoothing it out. Finally you pin the top to the other two layers leaving a couple of inches of batting and wadding all the way around the top. Smooth the top carefully so you don't have any creases.

If you're using a frame with three rollers, fasten one edge of the backing to the take up roller and the opposite edge to the backing roller. Be sure to keep the fabric square, then roll the excess backing onto the backing roller. Pin the wadding along the first edge, then drape it over the backing roller and tuck it behind the third roller. Pin the top along the first edge, then keep it square and pin the bottom edge to the third roller. Roll up the fabric on the third roller, keeping everything taut and straight.

It's a good idea to mark the center point of the backing and top as well as the center point of the frame on each roller. Start pinning from the center and work out - this will help you keep everything straight and square.
